Luke Foster: Founder, Editor/MMA Analyst

I am a Senior at Loyola University Chicago pursuing a degree in Business Management. I was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and currently live in the Kirkwood area. I have always been involved in sports since I was young, including football, hockey, soccer, baseball and the fancy-pants sport of squash, where I developed much of the work discipline I have to this day. I started boxing as a Sophomore in high school with local legend Art Jimmerson, a former National Golden Gloves Champ who competed in UFC 1 vs. Royce Gracie. I still have a great bond with Arty and am thankful for what he taught me about boxing back in the day.

After a few years of boxing, I was looking for something more action-packed. This is when, during my Junior year of high school, I made the transition to MMA and fell in love with the sport. I started my MMA training with Jesse Finney’s squad in St. Louis, where I learned a lot of basic knowledge of MMA. I’ve seen more fights than I could possibly count and follow various MMA news sources daily to constantly stay in-tuned with what’s going on in the sport.

Since then, I completed a Navy SealFit training camp in California modeled after the official Navy SEAL Hell week, where I was one of 9 to finish. Part of the camp required me and my teammates to stay awake for 50 hours straight, completing a wide variety of mentally and physically demanding tasks. I also interned for Enterprise-Rent-A-Car and finished as the #4 overall intern out of 50-60 other interns at different branches across the state of Illinois.
